About

Andrew and Abby in Africa (A2Africa) is about the adventures of Andrew, Abby, Adalyn, and Carson Lettsome as they work to build the Kingdom of God in Kenya, East Africa. Called to be a part of something bigger than themselves, they left the beaches of Florida and moved to the small town of Nanyuki—located on the equator at the base of snowcapped Mount Kenya.

Abby has a degree in Elementary Education and loves working with children and training teachers. A stay at home mom with two little ones, she volunteers at Mount Kenya Baptist Primary School and helps serve others through her love for hospitality. She has mastered buying groceries at the open market and cooking meals from scratch. Catch her in some downtime and she will probably be baking something delicious or working on a pinterest project to make the house feel more like a home.

Andrew uses his training in theology and international business for church centered community development. A born problem solver, he works closely with the national pastors to make sure they have the training, technology, and resources to reach Kenya in the 21st century—helping existing churches become self-supporting and pushing on to start new churches in the unreached areas of Northern Kenya. He has learned to be a builder, mechanic, offroad rally racer, IT professional, and so much more as he does his part to make sure everyone in Kenya has the opportunity to know the redemption of Jesus Christ.

A2Africa is here so you can stay up to date on the adventure, and you are invited to be a part through prayer, giving, and serving.
